Hi, we are Steven & Eloise Bird and we are the Youth Ministers at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish. Here’s a little bit about ourselves...
Steven is 24 years old and is currently working as the Campus Minister at St. Thomas More College, Sunnybank. Before working at STMC Steven was a tiler. Steven is a fun-loving young man who loves to be involved in everything. Steven LOVES his football and other sports such as touch rugby, volleyball and squash. Steven is also an awesome drummer and singer. Steven has been a parishioner at OLOL for 24 years =) and has been the youth coordinator for the past 6 years.
Eloise is 24 years old and is currently finishing her degree to become a high school Maths and Special Needs teacher. Eloise has only been part of the parish for the last 2.5 years and has been the co-youth coordinator with Steven for the past year and a half. Eloise is not very sporty or musical but will give anything a go if she is asked to. Eloise has a passion for working with young people and spent a year in Canada doing just that!!
We have now been married for just over a year and are passionate about what we do.
